洛莉·安·加纳（Lori Ann Garner）博士（密苏里大学-哥伦比亚校区）著有《构建空间：中世纪早期的英国口头诗学和建筑》（Structuring Spaces: Oral Poetics and Architecture in Early Medieval England, the University of Notre Dame Press，2011）一书，系“口承与书写的诗学”系列丛书之一。此外，她还就盎格鲁-撒克逊的符咒、古英语诗歌《朱迪丝和安德列斯》、中世纪英语中的不列颠传奇（Brut）、中世纪颂歌、《贝奥武夫》的现代改编、口头传统的教学方法， 以及中世纪史诗和传奇中的谚语等问题发表过文章。她与斯科特·加纳（Scott Garner）一道受邀主编了《口头传统》学刊特辑《约翰·迈尔斯·弗里纪念文集》（总26卷第2号），同时她也是该学刊的现任副主编。她在罗德学院（美国田纳西州孟菲斯市）任英语助教，讲授的课程涉及古英语和中世纪英语、英语的语言史和结构、以及民俗与口头传统。
