Sechinmenghe

Sechinmengh is a Mongolian from Bairin Right Banner, Inner Mongolia. He received his B.A. from Minzu University of China (Central University for Nationalities) in 1980. He is Senior Research Fellow as well as Director of Division of Mongolian Literature at Institute of Ethnic Literature, CASS. His research field covers Mongolian folklore and oral traditions. He is author of Ershi Shiji Xifang Mengguxue Yanjiu (On Mongolian Studies of Western Scholars in the 20th Century, 2002, in Mongolian).  His recent work centers on epic Geser.  One of his important publications is: Gesier Quanshu (A Complete Collection of Mongolian Geser, 8 volumes, 2002-2011).
